The cool weather didn’t keep crowds away from Oak Grove’s Spring Into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell festival Saturday and the fun resumes this afternoon.
The big attraction was country music group LANCO performing Saturday night on the Viceroy stage and fireworks closed out the night.
Families were on the grounds of Valor Hall off Fort Campbell Boulevard all afternoon, riding rides, checking out the vendor booths and checking out the shows.
The Canine Stars, as seen on America’s Got Talent, were popular and Oak Grove Tourism Executive Director Traci Cunningham notes the Aquatic Acrobatic Show and Captain Davy Show also have their own followings.
Day 2 of the Festival opens at noon with rides, shows and vendors until about 5:30 this afternoon.
