Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies host Game Three of the NBA Western Conference playoff series with the Utah Jazz Saturday evening. The series is tied at one game each.

Golf

Jordan Spieth at 11 under has a one shot lead on Jason Kokrak heading into Saturday’s third round of the PGA Tour’s Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, TX. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker is tied for 16th at four under par while Louisville area native Justin Thomas is tied for 30th at two under.

Play was suspended due to darkness at the Senior PGA Championship Friday at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK. Mike Weir leads in the clubhouse at seven under par, with Rocco Mediate, Alex Cjeka and Steve Stricker at three under. Franklin’s Kenny Perry is even par through two rounds while Paducah native Russ Cochran withdrew from the event.

Auto Racing
One of the greatest events in sports will flip the ignition switch on Sunday as the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500 will take place from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Scott Dixon will be on the inside up front to start the race. Colton Herta will take the middle while Rinus VeeKay will start in the first row on the outside. The event will be limited to 40-percent capacity and roughly 135,000 fans are expected to be allowed in attendance.

NASCAR’s Cup Series will head to Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday for the Coca-Cola 600. Chase Elliott is looking to build off the momentum of his first victory of the season this past week at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin.
