Long time HCA volleyball coach Eldridge Rogers passes away

Long time Heritage Christian Academy volleyball coach Eldridge Rogers passed away this morning. He had been hospitalized in Nashville recently for hip surgery and suffered a stroke while being hospitalized. The 81-year-old Rogers was also a long time coach, athletic director and teacher in the Christian County Public Schools and served as Director of Student Activities and as a professor at Hopkinsville Community College. He also served as an umpire for 26 years and umpired in 12 state tournaments.
