A pair of past Masters champions fired dueling 63s to open the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas on Thursday. Sergio Garcia and Jordan Spieth share the lead at seven-under at Colonial Country Club after the first round, two strokes ahead of Jason Kokrak and Eric Compton. Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker leads a group of three at four-under. Louisville area native Justin Thomas is at two over 72.

Play was suspended due to inclement weather Thursday at the Senior PGA Championship at Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK. Alex Cejka is the clubhouse leader at three under. Franklin’s Kenny Perry was even par through 12 holes while Paducah native Russ Cochran is one over through four holes. First round play will continue this morning with hopes of starting the second round later today.
