SEC: Tennessee avenged an earlier loss to Alabama in the SEC Tournament with an 11-0 win over the Crimson Tide Friday. The Vols will face Florida in semifinal action at noon Saturday.
Meanwhile, Vanderbilt lost to Ole Miss in an elimination game 4-1 to conclude the season 40-15. Vanderbilt will learn its NCAA tournament fate on Monday.
OVC: Murray State edged Morehead State 8-7 in 13 innings in completion of a suspended game from Thursday night. Murray State then lost to Southeast Missouri 6-5 and Austin Peay eliminated Morehead State 3-1.
Austin Peay and Murray State play at noon Saturday, with the winner to face Southeast Missouri at 4 pm.
