Bravard retiring from local museum

Janet Bravard, who has been a staple at the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville for almost 30 years, is retiring.

She began working for the museum as a part-time education coordinator in 1993, became a full-time program and exhibit specialist in 2002, and served briefly as the interim director. She currently serves as the Director of Programs and Exhibits.

The public can stop by the museum between 10 and 5 Friday to wish her well and there will be a bagpipe sendoff for Bravard from the museum steps at 5 p.m.
