A man was flown to a Nashville hospital following a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Russellville.
It happened about 2:20 p.m. and Russellville police say Ronnie Carr of Bowling Green was eastbound on US 68 in the area of Kirby’s Funeral Home when his car crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an SUV operated by Jacob Bostick of Bowling Green.
Police say an open container of alcohol was found in the vehicle operated by Carr, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Car was flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Bostick was taken by ambulance to Logan Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
