After year of delays and closures and obstacles, the Pennyroyal Arts Council is reopening the Alhambra Theatre and celebrating the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions.
Director Margaret Prim appeared on WHOP Tuesday morning and it was a challenging time for the Arts Council and the Alhambra Theatre, but they did what they could to stay involved in the community.
She says they’re more than ready to start getting back to normal and having shows again, starting with the Save Our Stages performance featuring Casey James, song writer and American Idol finalist.
The Arts Council will once again be offering summer camps for children ages 7 through 12 starting in June.
In-person and livestream tickets are available online for the Save Our Stages concert, which kicks of June 12 at 7:30 p.m. More information about that and what the Arts Council has coming up in the year can be found on the Pennyroyal Arts Council Facebook page.
