The Cincinnati Reds fell behind early then tried to rally as the Milwaukee Brewers held on for a 9-4 win. Cincinnati was once again powered by the hot-hitting of Nick Castellanos who homered and doubled, and Jesse Winker, who also homered. The Reds are off today for the first time in two weeks and will next play on Tuesday at Washington. The next Reds on Radio broadcast will be Wednesday night with pregame at 5:35 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

avy Baez hit a two-run homer in the 10th inning as the Chicago Cubs edged the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 in St. Louis. Neither team scored until the 10th. The Cardinals begin an Interleague series tonight at the Chicago White Sox while the Cubs have the night off.

The Atlanta Braves capped off a strong showing against the Pittsburgh Pirates with a 7-1 win in the series finale. Austin Riley drove in five runs while hitting two of Atlanta’s three home runs. Dansby Swanson also added a two-run homer as the Braves took three of the four-game series against Pittsburgh. Atlanta hits the road starting with a pair of games at Fenway Park on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox.
