Motorists on I-24 in Christian County are likely to encounter a work zone on the eastbound side during the first half of this week.
A lane closure will be necessary near the 73 mile-marker to allow the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to make concrete repairs at the bridge approach, according to a news release.
While the work is scheduled to be completed by the end of Wednesday, the duration of the job could be changed by any inclement weather.
Those traveling in the work zone are reminded to slow down and to be on the lookout for construction workers.
