Ky. adds 263 COVID cases, four new deaths

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported 263 cases of COVID-19 in the state Monday.

He also reported a positivity rate of 2.61 percent, which is fairly on par for the recent positivity rate—Christian County remains in the bottom five of counties for vaccination rate, with 18 percent of the population having been vaccinated against COVID-19.

There are currently 343 Kentuckians in the hospital with COVID-19, 101 in the ICU and 71 on a ventilator.  Four more individuals have died due to COVID-19.

Christian County remains ‘yellow’ on the state incidence rate map and is joined by Trigg County in that category, while Todd County remains ‘orange’.
