Stone leaving local Ag. Extension office to return to programming in Hopkins County

Jay Stone is leaving his post as manager of the Christian County Ag. Extension Office to re-enter agriculture programming field in Hopkins County.

Stone says his passion is in the field and he’s happy to be making the transition.

He’s been at the local office for the last 23 years and Stone says there’s been a lot of local growth during that time, including the recent construction of the Ag. Expo Center.

Stone says it’s been a pleasure to work with all of the farming leaders in Christian County.

He says he’ll still remain a Christian County resident and will likely still be involved in the farming community in some ways.
