Baseball: Chance Henderson was dialed in at the plate on Saturday, tallying five hits and leading Christian County to a 19-9 win over Hopkins County Central. Henderson singled in the first, doubled in the second, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and singled in the sixth. David Kryzwada was the pitching winner for the Colonels, now 7-16 on the season.
Graves County blanked University Heights 11-0 in five innings. The Blazers were held to just four hits and Matthew Leeper took the pitching loss. UHA is now 11-18 on the season.
Softball: Christian County lost a pair of games at the Meade County Mighty May Event Saturday, falling to Collins 7-6 and host Meade County 10-0 in five innings. The Lady Colonels are now 19-10 on the season.
