The Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for felony assault Saturday morning after he allegedly caused serious injuries to a woman with a baseball bat.
Deputies were called to Mannington Loop about 5 a.m. regarding a woman that had multiple injuries.
Investigation determined she had been in an altercation with 32-year old Landon Foster of Crofton and that he had allegedly struck her with a bat.
Foster also had minor injuries from the incident and Sheriff Tyler DeArmond says he was treated and released from Jennie Stuart Medical Center and then arrested for first-degree assault (domestic violence).
The victim was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment of her injuries.
