Positivity rate continues to decline in Kentucky

The positivity rate in Kentucky is continuing to drop, as Governor Andy Beshear reported 544 new cases Friday.

The positivity rate is at 2.62 percent and the overall total of individuals who have tested positive for coronavirus is in the state is at 455,150.  Five more Kentuckians have died due to COVID-19, putting that total at 6,698.

There are currently 365 Kentuckians in the hospital with the virus, 108 in the ICU and 58 on a ventilator.

Christian County remains yellow on the state incidence rate map, with Todd county listed as orange and Trigg County remaining green.
