Ky. adds 575 COVID cases, 15 deaths

Kentucky added 575 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, according to Governor Andy Beshear.

The positivity rate is down to 2.70 percent and there were fifteen new deaths in the state, two of which were discovered in the ongoing audit of the state reporting system.  That brings the death toll up to 6,693.

There are currently 357 Kentuckians in the hospital with coronavirus, 104 in the ICU and 44 on a ventilator.

Christian County is labelled ‘yellow’ on the state incidence rate map, while Todd County is once again ‘orange’—Trigg County remains ‘green’.
