The Tennessean reports Tennessee State University will play all of its home games starting with the 2021 season at Nissan Stadium. Since 2012, the Tigers have played half of their games at Hale Stadium on the TSU campus and the others at Nissan Stadium. Former Tennessee Titan Eddie George will coach the Tigers this season.
College Basketball
Former University of Louisville player Quinn Slazinski has selected to transfer and play for former Cardinals coach Rick Pitino at Iona. Slazinski recently placed his name in the transfer portal.
NFL
NFL.com reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to practice with the Tennessee Titans before their preseason game this summer. Tampa Bay coach Bruce Arians says the teams will practice together for a week before their August 21st matchup in Tampa.
Golf
Rory McIlroy-who won the PGA Championship the last time it was played at Kiwah Island-is the favorite to win this week’s event that begins tomorrow. Casears Sportsbooks has McIlroy at 11-1 with American Jordan Spieth-who’s been playing well lately at 16-1 along with Louisville area native Justin Thomas. Jon Rahm is 14-1, with Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau each at 18-1.
