Hopkinsville Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Brooke Jung and former Mayor Dan Kemp will chair this year’s United Way fundraising campaign.
Their goal will be $750,000 and the theme will be “Baking a Difference.”
All money raised will benefit 20 United Way partner agencies across Caldwell, Christian, Todd and Trigg counties.
Kemp says, “The United Way creates opportunities for a better life for all by advancing common good through investing in education, income and health. That is something we can all get behind.”
Meanwhile, Jung says, “I am so excited to serve alongside Dan as co-chair for this year’s campaign. He has a heart for leadership and is so passionate about creating a better life for all those in the Pennyrile area, and I look forward to doing all I can to ensure our efforts assist as many people and organizations as possible.”
A campaign kickoff event is scheduled for September 2.
