A Lafayette man was injured in a motorcycle accident early Tuesday morning on the Eagle Way Bypass.
It happened about five minutes after midnight, with a Hopkinsville Police Department report saying 23-year old Tyler Herndon of Lafayette had been westbound near the Lafayette Road intersection in the left lane passing a vehicle when he believes his rear tire slid in some rocks on the roadway.
His motorcycle entered the median and traveled several yards before Herndon was thrown off the bike.
He complained of shoulder pain and was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
