Christian County wins, UHA loses in Monday action

University Heights fell to Crittenden County 4-3. Luke Welch struck out nine and walked two batters while the Blazers JT DeArmond had two of the teams five hits. UHA fell to 11-17 on the season and play at Livingston Central today.

Josh Snorton and Chance Henderson each had a pair of hits in Christian County’s 16-1 8th district win at Fort Campbell. Broden Kellum struck out eight in the win for the Colonels, who have won their last three games. Christian County is now 6-15 and concludes district play 3-3. Fort Campbell is 0-16 and 0-5 in the district. The Colonels travel to Warren East today, while the Falcons play at Hopkinsville Wednesday.

Hopkinsville did not play Monday, but the Tigers are back in action this evening hosting Bowling Green.
