Kentucky reports 288 new COVID cases Sunday

Governor Andy Beshear reported 288 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday as the positivity rate fell again to 2.79 percent.

Hospitalizations are at 381, 112 Kentuckians are in the ICU with the virus and 53 are on a ventilator.

Eight new fatalities brings Kentucky’s death toll to 6,656.

In a piece of good news, just over 1.9 million Kentuckians have now received at least their first dose of a COVID vaccine.

Christian County remains yellow on the incidence rate map, Todd is orange and Trigg is still in the green.
