Fire caused significant damage to a home on Maple Court Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville firefighters responded to 804 Maple a few minutes before 4 p.m. and Public Information Officer Payton Rogers says they found fire coming from the rear of the structure.
Hopkinsville Police Officer Ryan Buford and a citizen helped evacuate two residents prior to firefighters’ arrival and several pets were also evacuated.
Rogers says both occupants will be displaced by the fire, but there were no reports of injuries.
