Reds fall behind to Rockies, rally falls short

The Cincinnati Reds rallied from ten-runs down but couldn’t get the win in a 13-8 loss to the Colorado Rockies. Cincinnati scored eight-runs in the top of the eighth inning to cut the lead to two, but the bullpen gave up three-runs in the bottom of the frame as the Rockies held on for the win. Tyler Stephenson and Jonathan India homered for the Reds to lead the offense. Cincinnati and Colorado will meet again tonight at Coors Field, with pregame at 7:10 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.
