Small arms component manufacturer relocating headquarters in Clarksville

The Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board has announced that Troy Industries Inc. will relocate its U.S. manufacturing headquarters in Clarksville.

A news release says Troy Industries has executed a lease agreement on a site at 1575 Corporate Parkway Boulevard owned by the IDB, formerly home to the Tennessee Rehab Center.

Troy Industries plans to transition the facility into a design and manufacturing facility for top-quality small arms components and accessories.

Mayor Joe Pitts says the company plans to invest $7.1 million and create 75 new jobs with the move.

Industrial Development Board Chairman Wally Crow says, “Troy Industries is a veteran-friendly employer and will help create another valued veteran connection to employment for our active-duty service members when they ETS. Aligning new and expanding business with our current population is a great win for the community.”
