Interleague

The Chicago Cubs fell 2-1 in 10 innings to the Cleveland Indians, while leaving 15 men on base. Joc Pederson doubled in the only run for Chicago, who has now lost three straight. The Cubs open a series at the Detroit Tigers tomorrow.

The Atlanta Braves lost their second consecutive game against Toronto 4-1. Atlanta has now dropped to 0-and-5 against the Blue Jays this season while being outscored 35-16. The teams conclude the series today at Truist Park.
