Christian County Public Schools are celebrating after Millbrooke Elementary School was named an Imagine Nation Beacon School of 2021.
According to a news release from CCPS Spokesperson John Rittenhouse, the Imagine Learning Foundation has recognized Millbrooke Elementary School as one of six Kentucky schools to be a 2021 Imagine Nation Beacon School.
The Imagine Learning Foundation’s goal is to provide schools with adaptive digital curriculum and assessment tools to help accelerate learning for students in pre-kindergarten to the 8th grade.
Principal Renikka Owen says, “We piloted this program starting in October, and are excited about this huge accomplishment. It has been a tough year with the global pandemic, but our teachers and students rose to the challenge.”
