Two people were injured in a pair of accidents in Logan County this week.
The first happened Monday afternoon on Stuart Smotherman Road, with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office saying 37-year old Cynthia Coleman of Russellville drove off the side of the road while meeting another vehicle.
She lost control and attempted to get back on the road, but overturned in a ditch.
Coleman was taken by EMS to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Meanwhile, 33-year old Antonio Boatwright of Dunmor was northbound on Lewisburg Road early Tuesday morning when his car went off the left shoulder of the road, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.
Boatwright was taken by EMS to Logan Memorial for treatment of injuries and deputies also charged him with DUI.
