NHL

The Nashville Predators are wrapping up the regular season tonight with another first round playoff series preview against the Carolina Hurricanes. A win would mark Nashville’s fourth in five games entering the postseason. Carolina has already locked up the top seed in the Central. The Preds were 3-1 winners against the Hurricanes on Saturday.

NBA

The Memphis Grizzlies are back home as they make a final push for the playoffs. Ja Morant and company host the New Orleans Pelicans tonight to open a four-game home stand. Currently in the ninth spot in the West, the Grizz have just five games left in the regular season.

Horse Racing

Churchill Downs is suspending trainer Bob Baffert and Medina Spirit could be disqualified from this year’s Kentucky Derby win. The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission notified Baffert that Medina Spirit returned a positive drug test after the race. Baffert says he was told the horse tested positive for the drug betamethasone. According to a statement from Churchill Downs, if the findings are upheld, Medina Spirit’s win will be invalidated and Mandaloun will be declared the winner.

NASCAR

Martin Truex Jr. is still the only NASCAR Cup Series driver with multiple wins this season after notching his third checkered flag Sunday at Darlington. He led for a majority of the race, including the final 105 laps. Kyle Larson finished second, followed by Kyle Busch. NASCAR points’ leader Denny Hamlin placed fifth.
