Major League Baseball handed down a steep punishment to Reds reliever Amir Garrett. The reliever has been suspended seven games following a benches clearing incident with the Chicago Cubs on Saturday. Garrett is expected to appeal the suspension. The benches cleared in the eighth inning after Garrett was animated following a strikeout of Anthony Rizzo.
