Ky. adds 776 COVID cases, seven deaths

Governor Andy Beshear reported 776 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, and that the positivity rate increased slightly once again.

According to a news release, the governor once again urged citizens to find an appointment to get a COVID-19 vaccination, saying, “There are vaccination appointments available every week, at many different times throughout the day. At some sites, you don’t even need an appointment. Get it done, for yourself and for your community, so we can reach our goal and relax more restrictions.”

The positivity rate is now at 3.47 percent, keeping the data trend that the state is in a plateau. Seven more Kentuckians have passed away due to COVID-19.
