Princeton man arrested for assault, unlawful imprisonment

An investigation Saturday in Lyon County led to the arrest of a Princeton man for unlawful imprisonment and other charges.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to Buzzard Rock Road in Kuttawa for an assault complaint and found a female victim who had been assaulted.

The alleged perpetrator, 50-year old Patrick Sheridan of Princeton, had fled the area.

A news release says the victim had obvious injuries and reported Sheridan held her against her will on a boat and would not allow her to leave.

He also allegedly threatened to kill her and her grandchildren.  Sheridan also allegedly took the victim’s cellular phone in order to prevent her from summoning help.

Sheridan was located and arrested by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies and charged with DUI, fourth-degree assault, unlawful imprisonment, terroristic threatening and interfering with communications.
