An investigation on Evergreen Park Drive Thursday night led to a Hopkinsville man on multiple charges.
Officers went to 633 Evergreen to serve an arrest warrant on 21-year old Jacobie Penman and an arrest citation says an odor of marijuana was coming from the home at the front door.
A search warrant was obtained and police say they found two partially smoked marijuana cigarettes, a glass jar with marijuana residue and two handguns loaded with hollow point ammunition.
A computer check showed that one of the guns had been reported stolen in Oak Grove.
Penman was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen firearm, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, tampering with evidence, use of restricted ammunition during commission of a felony, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was also served with a warrant for failure to appear in court.
