Clarksville woman hurt in Pennyrile Parkway crash

A Clarksville woman was injured in a single-vehicle collision on the Pennyrile Parkway Wednesday in Christian County.

According to the collision report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle driven by Brittany Wahl of Clarksville was heading south in the left lane around the 5 mile marker.  She was reportedly trying to pass a semi-truck and it was raining heavily at the time—her vehicle began to hydroplane and she overcorrected, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway.

It entered the median and the overturned, rolling before coming to a stop upright in the northbound left lane.

Wahl was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of head injuries.  She was wearing a seat belt.
