Noffsinger thanks community for helping Rotary Auction reach record totals

The 71st WHOP Rotary Radio Auction was the most successful event in auction history and the chairman is thanking the community for making that possible.

The auction ended with a record total of $397,832 and Chairman Cody Noffsinger says they were able to set records in each section of the event because of the community’s support.

It’s time to pick up your item if you were a successful bidder and Noffsinger says the War Memorial Building will be open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. this week through Wednesday.

Andrew Wilson will chair next year’s auction and he’s already shown his ability to lead by overseeing the Hour Club the last few years.

A total of 722 items sold for just under $91,000 in six nights of the auction and cash donations to the Hour and Goat Club totaled $278,569.
