Clarskville PD looking for wanted suspect

Clarksville police are asking for the public’s help to locate a wanted suspect who ran from officers Saturday.

A news release says Clarksville police officers made contact with a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office suspect about 2 p.m. yesterday that stemmed from an incident that occurred in the county at approximately 8:15 a.m.

The suspect, identified as 34-year old Dustin Williams, abandoned the vehicle that was taken from the county incident and fled on foot in the Terminal Road area. Williams then allegedly attempted to take another vehicle, also in the Terminal Road area, but was unsuccessful and fled on foot in that same area.

Police say Williams is not believed to be armed or a threat to the public.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and an orange beanie cap.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts should call 931-645-TIPS.
