Kentucky landed a prize recruit for 2022 on Saturday. Offensive lineman Kiyaunta Goodwin of Louisville verbally committed to Kentucky, choosing the Wildcats over Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson and Michigan State. He is one of the top 100 linemen in the country and also one of the top 50 prospects in the 2022 class.
However the Cats also received some bad news concerning the upcoming season. Head coach Mark Stoops revealed sophomore linebacker D’Eryk Jackson suffered a season-ending, lower-body injury in a non-contact drill while warming up in Saturday’s final practice.
