CBS Sports.com reports a high school in Atlanta is renaming itself after late Atlanta Braves great Hank Aaron starting this fall. In doing so, the school will be moving away from its previous namesake-the first grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. Forrest Hill Academy-named after ex-Confederate leader Nathan Bedford Forrest-will be named Hank Aaron New Beginnings Academy.

Basketball

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the list of Hall of Famers scheduled to present the 2020 class of honorees — led by Michael Jordan honoring Kobe Bryant. Jordan will also introduce Baylor women’s coach Kim Mulkey, making him the only Hall of Famer presenting multiple candidates during this year’s induction ceremony which takes place May 15th.

Retired quarterback Brett Favre says most fans don’t want to see more politics in sports. Favre said during an interview he thinks fans are turning away from sports where athletes are becoming political. He said recent protests in all sports have led to more ‘turmoil than good.’ Favre says fans tell him all the time that they don’t watch anymore.
