Hopkinsville police arrested a man Wednesday who allegedly assaulted and injured his girlfriend.
An arrest citation for 35-year old Anthony Robinson of Hopkinsville says EMS was called to assess the victim, who had swelling on a significant portion of her face, in addition to a bruised eye.
Robinson reportedly showed officers a video of an argument between himself and the victim, where the woman repeatedly told him to get out and said that he had hit her.
Robinson was charged with second-degree felony assault.
