Willson Contreras’ two-run homer in the eighth lifted the Chicago Cubs to a 3-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. Kris Bryant drove in a run and Pedro Strop earned the win in relief for Chicago. Craig Kimbrel posted a four-out save. The Cubs and Brewers finished the three-game set today.
It’s a night Louisville native Adam Duvall will never forget. Duvall homered twice, had a double and drove in seven runs in the Miami Marlins’ 14-8 win at the Atlanta Braves. The teams play again tonight.
