There were 17 new coronavirus cases Wednesday in Christian County and 11 in Todd County.
Christian County’s active case count actually fell to 171 with new recoveries and only 23 of those are 60 or older.
Meanwhile, the Todd County Public Health Director Jen Harris says the 11 new cases there is the highest number in over two weeks. They are six adults and five minors and all are isolating at home.
Harris says they have had some new cases from individuals who’ve received their first vaccine dose, but they only had very mild symptoms. They have not had any new cases where the patient has had both doses of the vaccine.
All 25 active cases in Todd County are healing at home.
