A two-vehicle accident Monday night in Madisonville injured two women.
Madisonville police investigated and determined 44-year old Kelly Truckey of Madisonville was southbound on Hanson Road at about 8:15 p.m. and slowed to make a turn onto Hickory Drive.
She was then rear-ended by an automobile operated by 18-year old Banks Backhurst of Madisonville.
Truckey and her passenger, 55-year old Tammy Neal of Madisonville, were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
