Christian County Public Schools superintendent Chris Bentzel has named Shawna Johnson as the 2021 Project Graduation coordinator.
A news release from the district says Johnson currently serves as the Family Resource and Youth Services Center director at Christian County High School and will maintain that position in addition to her new assignment.
Project Graduation began as a drug and alcohol-free graduation event across the United States in 1978 to prevent death and serious injuries stemming from graduation celebrations.
