The League of Women Voters of Hopkinsville members will host a discussion with local legislators Saturday about issues the organization is interested in.
Speakers include Representative Myron Dossett, Representative Walker Thomas and Senator Whitney Westerfield relating to various issues important to the League of Women Voters. Some of the topics covered will be the restoration of voting rights restoration, legislative redistricting, equitable school funding, and encouraging voter participation.
The event will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the Community Room of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library.
The public is invited to attend with masks and social distancing required, and the event will also be streamed live through the League of Women Voters Hopkinsville Facebook page.
