The Christian County Health Department will go forward with its vaccine clinics in the community, but it will be with Moderna instead of Johnson and Johnson after the FDA and CDC put a pause on their single-dose vaccine Tuesday morning.
The first will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Christian County Senior Center and then from 1 until 3 at Virginia Street Baptist Church.
They will be at the Boys and Girls Club from 1 until 3 p.m. on April 21 and at the Salvation Army from 11:30 until 1:30 on April 28.
Meanwhile, the Todd County Health Department has ceased administering the Johnson and Johnson vaccine while the FDA and CDC evaluate six instances of people experiencing a rare and severe type of blood clot after receiving the shot.
