The Christian County Health Department reported five additional deaths related to COVID-19 Monday.
According to a news release, the five deaths were identified during the audit of the state reporting system taking place across Kentucky. The victims are described as a 75-year old Caucasian male, a 71-year old African American male, a 75-year old Caucasian male, a 59-year old African American male and a 75-year old Caucasian female, all of whom reportedly had underlying health conditions.
These deaths bring the overall death toll in the county up to 96.
