Kentucky had decline in new COVID cases last week

There were fewer new cases of COVID-19 reported the last seven days Kentucky than in the previous week.

Governor Andy Beshear reported 366 new cases Sunday, eight new deaths and one death from the ongoing audit of the state reporting system. Kentucky’s pandemic death toll is now 6,250.

The positivity rate is 3.08 percent, 379 Kentuckians are in the hospital with the virus, 92 are in the ICU and 51 are on a ventilator.

Christian and Trigg remain orange on the incidence rate map, while Todd is yellow.
