Governor Andy Beshear has signed more bills into law.
In a ceremony at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage in Louisville, Beshear signed Senate Bill 4, which limits no-knock warrants in the state.
The family of Breonna Taylor, including her mother Tamika Palmer, was on hand for the signing.
The governor also signed into law a bill that awards tuition grants to Historically Black Colleges and Universities—Simmons College and Kentucky State University—to produce more African American teachers.
Beshear also signed into law a bill that creates a tax increment financing (TIF) district in Louisville’s west end.
