Ky. gains 645 new COVID-19 cases, Gov. urges people to get vaccinated

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear urged people to sign-up for a COVID-19 vaccination Thursday while reporting 645 new cases.

The governor also reported that Christian County has a second confirmed case of the B 1.1.7 coronavirus variant.

There were 16 new deaths reported Thursday, putting the death toll in the Commonwealth at 6,214—the positivity rate decreased once again to 2.81 percent.
