Two adults were killed and a child was seriously injured in a head-on collision Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery County.
It happened in the 4800 block of Highway 149 and the Tennessee Highway Patrol says 44-year old David McCullough of Cumberland City was eastbound when his pickup crossed the center line and struck a westbound automobile operated by operated by 30-year old Rasha Hall of McEwen, Tennessee.
McCullough and Hall were both killed in the crash and Hall’s 10-year old passenger was flown to Vanderbilt Pediatric Hospital.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt, according to the report, which says Hall attempted to use the shoulder of the road to avoid a collision, but was unable to do so.
