The 71st WHOP Rotary Radio Auction is less than two weeks away and auction items and cash donations are still sought.
With a theme of “Building the Foundation,” the auction will go from April 19-24 at the War Memorial Building in downtown Hopkinsville.
Auction Chair Cody Noffsinger says a good amount of items have already been donated, but they’re still looking for more.
Last year’s auction was virtual due to the pandemic and the diner wasn’t open, but Noffsinger says they’ll have all of the lunch and dinner favorites with room to eat on site.
It takes a $179 cash donation to join the Hour Club and Noffsinger says cash donations are the driving force behind making the auction successful.
The auction will go Monday through Thursday the week of the 19th from 7 until 10, 6 until 10 that Friday and 6 until all items are sold on Saturday night.
